Throwback: Anil Kumble reveals the source of motivation behind his success

Former captain of Indian Test team and a champion leg-spinner Anil Kumble has been a source of inspiration to many. But recently, he shared with his fans and followers what kept him motivated all along his journey in cricket. The highest wicket-taker for India in Tests and ODIs took to Twitter to share his source of inspiration.

He posted an image from his school days along with the caption: “The prized possesion that has kept me motivated all along. First bat I won & Shivcharan Lal Trophy #ThowbackThursday”

Kumble has been involved with cricket even after his retirement. He has mentored the Mumbai Indians (MI) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and recently was reappointed as the head of ICC cricket committee.
