Trailer of Brett Lee-starrer ‘UnIndian’

Here is the first look at the trailer of the Brett Lee-starrer, ‘UnIndian”, slated to release in October 2015. Lee, who in many ways is an adopted Indian, stars in the lead role opposite, Indian actress Tannishtha Chatterjee in the cross-cultural romantic comedy supported by the Australia India Film Fund (AIFF).

Meera [Tannishtha Chatterjee], a single mother, is an Australian of Indian origin in the film. Smart and independent, she has carved out a successful life for herself and her daughter … despite family pressure to find ‘a nice Indian match’. Then Meera meets Will [Brett Lee], a tall and blonde with a charming smile. But falling in love with an Australian man is un-Indian! And that is what the film is all about.

The film is produced and directed by University of New South Wales (UNSW) alumnus Anupam Sharma. The production began in October last year in Sydney and was announced during Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott’s visit to India.
