After a lot of debate over the number three spot in the Indian batting line up, Virat Kohli today proved that he is best man to be at this position with his splendid century. In the ongoing fourth One-Day International (ODI) match between India and South Africa at Chennai, Kohli has marked his return to form with a steady, composed and and intelligent hundred.
With this century, he has now surpassed Sourav Ganguly, who has 22 centuries in his name. Meanwhile, South Africa will be desperate to get his wicket as we know that from here on, he can take the scoreboard easily to more than 320 with Suresh Raina at the other end, who is also capable of hitting big sixes. Currently Kohli is only behind Sachin Tendulkar in terms total number of hundreds for India, fifth overall. He is also holds the record of most centuries among the current active cricketers in ODIs. Criclife presents you some of the tweets from cricket fraternity after Kohliâs 23rd century.

Hopefully this settles the debate for #3 and hereby starts the search to find a couple of finishers. Rahane looked solid at #4 too #Kohli

Only four players have scored more ODI hundreds than Kohli (23) – Sangakkara (25), Jayasuriya (28), Ponting (30) & Tendulkar (49). #IndvSA

Thought Virat was a bit confused how to react after that 100. So he got angry first & then smiled afterwards.
