There was a lot of hype around Pakistan’s tour of England as Mohammad Amir was travelling with the team for the first time since that fateful tour of 2010. Also the series was billed as a contest between Pakistan’s pace bowling and England’s strong batting. However, with entire spotlight on young Amir, a certain Yasir Shah was patiently waiting to unleash himself on the English players. His chance came on Day 2 of the Lord’s Test and he announced his arrival in England in style. The leggie ran through the England middle-order as he picked up a fifer at the home of cricket. It was a rare sight, a leg-spinner taking the honours at the Lord’s. In fact it happened in 20 years, as his compatriot and team’s current spin bowling coach Mushtaq Ahmed was the last man to take a fifer at the venue in 1996.
