Twitter, Virat Kohli bow to 17-year old Sarfaraz Khan’s blitz

Even before he turned to his teens, he was hailed to be the next big thing and at the age of 15, he made it to the Indian Under-19 side. At the age of 17, Sarfaraz Khan is the youngest player in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and he did no harm to his reputation of being a talented batsman, when he played his first big knock for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on Wednesday.

Even Virat Kohli bowed to the teenager out of respect after he scored a brilliant unbeaten knock of 21-ball45 against Rajasthan Royals (RR) at Bangalore. Sarfaraz’s knock took RCB to 200 for seven in their 20 overs.

His knock became one of the most discussed events on Twitter and even former cricket greats hailed the teenage prodigy.
