Twitterati hail KL Rahul on becoming first Indian to score a ton on ODI debut

KL Rahul stuck to his guns and came out in flying colours as he smashed an unbeaten ton in One-Day International debut and became the first cricketer to have done so. It’s tremendous achievement for any budding cricketer and Rahul has certainly grabbed the golden opportunity with both the hands and left no room for error whatsoever. While chasing a modest target of 169 in 50 overs, Rahul got the ball rolling from the outset at Harare. His 115-balls century contained seven elegant boundaries and a maximum. He made it to the Indian side on the basis of some terrific performances in the recently concluded Indian Premier League (IPL) as he did a commendable job for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).
