Twitterati troll Ambati Rayudu for his ‘Test-like’ batting during the first India – Zimbabwe ODI

In the ongoing first One-Day International (ODI) match between Zimbabwe and India at Harare, Ambati Rayudu managed to land himself at the center of trolls of the cricket fans. It all started because of his slow batting which made him trend on social media.

Rayudu came to the crease and joined opener KL Rahul in the middle after the fall of India’s first wicket of debutant Karun Nair. Since then, he was extremely slow and paced his innings the way batsmen usually do in Tests. He took nine balls to open his account, which was fine but from there on, Rayudu took 27 more balls to reach to the double figures, which meant he took 36 balls to reach to the 10-run mark.

His slow batting set the Twitter world abuzz as the Twitterati started posting funny jokes and tweets about him. We present some of the tweets from social zone here:
