Twitterati troll former cricketer Chetan Chauhan on becoming head of Fashion School NIFT

There was a time when people would escape even after committing heavy mistakes. But in today’s world, there is a little room for error, especially on social media, where the netizens are waiting to pounce on you to troll/attack you according to the situation. Former cricketer Chetan Chauhan became the latest victim of Twitter trolls.

Chauhan, who was recently appointed the chairman of the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), became a top trend on the social network as the users made fun of his posting in a field he has little knowledge of. 68-year old Chauhan, who is a two-time BJP MP and vice-president of the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA), has been reportedly given the position based on his cricketing and banking experience. A person who dons many hats, Chauhan also has a printing press besides his political and cricket commitments. And now that he has landed this outlandish role, he hopes to do justice with all his roles by effectively managing his time.
