Trent Boult  and Tim Southee ran riot against England in the first day-night Test at Auckland with the pink ball doing all the damage. The likes of Joe Root, Ben Stokes, Jonny Bairstow and Alastair Cook were no match for the rampaging Kiwi quick’s and got bundled out for merely 58 runs. It took Boult and Southee just 20 odds to get their opponents into submission. Only Craig Overton provided some fight for the visiting side, making 33 runs. Boult’s wickets of Root and Chris Woakes were the highlights of his 6-wicket haul. Boult’s partner-in-crime Southee himself claimed 4 wickets.
