India’s dashing opener Shikhar Dhawan has been a sensation with the bat in hand. But this time, he has reached new heights with his terrific performance through lip syncing. When Indian conquered the world in 2011, skipper MS Dhoni’s final nail in the coffin — the winning six off Nuwan Kulasekara — made every Indian fans’ day.

One of the most interesting aspects of that moment was also Ravi Shastri’s commentary; lively and energetic. Since then, his dialogue when Dhoni slams a six has gained a cult status and has been imitated by many cricketers. On this occasion, Dhawan impressively dubbed this legendary dialogue and International Cricket Council (ICC) took to their official Twitter handle to post the video through Vine and wrote, “Well Mimed! Well timed! @sdhawan25 with a @vine #AudioRemix of @msdhoni’s World Cup finish in 2011! #WT20”

Dhawan was exceptional in his delivery of the dialogue and has done really well to fit into Shastri’s shoes. Dhawan didn’t have a great run in the Test series against South Africa but the talented left-hander possesses immense potential and can make a comeback in no time. ICC too released the schedule of 2016 World T20 on Friday which is going to take place in India from March 8.
