Indian legendary leg-spinner Anil Kumble may have retired from cricket, but he canât keep his feeling to go out there and bowl hidden. One such instance was cited during the fourth Test between India and South Africa at Delhi where Kumble was seen rolling his arms over in the nets before the start of the play on Day five.
Indian Cricket Team’s official Facebook account posted a video and wrote, âAnil Kumble can’t stop himself from bowling at the Kotla. Some bonds are never broken#IndvsSAâ
Kumble has some golden memories with this venue as his finest performance in Test cricket came at this ground. He ripped through the Pakistani batting line up in the second innings of a Test in 1999 and picked all ten wickets to fall, thus etching his name in history with gold. He also has a fantastic record at this ground and seems he was reliving those golden days.
Itâs a great view for any cricket lover to see their favourite star still having the urge to go out and play the gentlemenâs game. Many cricketers often swing their bat or bowl to contemporary cricketers and pass on some valuable and priceless knowledge.
