Video: Wasim Akram heckled by unknown assailants on live TV while talking on a cricket show in Mumbai

Former Pakistan captain Wasim Akram, who is a popular figure in India with his cricketing insights and commentary skills, was in for some rude treatment on Sunday after India’s stunning victory over Australia in the knock-out match. Already in a sombre mood after the ghastly terror attacks in Lahore the same day, Akram had to undergo more trauma as he was heckled by unknown people.

On Sunday evening, while analysing the match in a chat with a Sports Editor on an Indian news channel, Akram was attacked by some unknown miscreants, who came in front of the cameras and asked the crew and Akram lo stop their activity. The legendary cricketer was in absolute shock after the rude interruption, the point where the video ended.

Anchor of the show, Sports Editor of AajTak, Vikrant Gupta took to Twitter to calm the fans who were disturbed with the development. He tweeted:

Akram was already upset on hearing about the blast in Lahore on Sunday evening and had tweeted earlier in the evening.
