VIDEO: When Mumbai Indians teammates Harbhajan Singh and Ambati Rayudu almost got into an on-field fight

This may be some exaggeration but in the past, Harbhajan Singh has got himself involved in an unneeded slapgate involving S Sreesanth. Sunday could have seen another ugly incident involving the champion off-spinner.

It was the Maharashtra Derby on the Maharashtra Day, Mumbai Indians (MI) had put Rising Pune Supergiants (RPS) to bat. The fight triggered in the 10th over of the Pune innings when Ambati Rayudu dived desperately but could not prevent a boundary in the deep mid-wicket region from a shot by Saurabh Tiwary. A frustrated Harbhajan cried out abuses but Rayudu did not take it kindly and retorted back.

Both the players charged towards each other with Rayudu clearly showing his displeasure. Sensing the awkward situation, Harbhajan being a senior player handled the situation well, as he tried to pacify Rayudu. However, Rayudu was in no mood for peace. He angrily walked away. See what happened:
