Sledging has become an integral part of cricket over the years. Sledging takes place at all levels and at all locations around the globe, driving cricketers and fans crazy. The crowd gets going, which helps inject energy in every game. But one runs out of words when sledging turns into a hilarious ballet. One such instance was witnessed during the Nelson Mandela Legacy Cup match between Proteas and Springboks at Newlands, Cape Town recently. Proteas posted a massive a total of 253 on the board as Springboks had a mountain to climb in chasing such a huge total.

The game was brimming with action as it was raining boundaries and sixes at Cape Town. But what grabbed enormous eyeballs was the friendly banter between batsman Trevor Nyakane and bowler Mangaliso Mosehle. Springboks needed 38 runs from the final over with two wickets in hand when Nyakane and Mosehle got involved in a hilarious incident. Mosehle walked up to Nyakane furiously as the duo met at the middle of the pitch. The duo gave a stern stare to each other for few seconds following which Mosehle broke into a jig, and Nyakane responded. Everyone at the ground and in front of their screens certainly had a great laugh.
