Virat Kohli, Chris Gayle, AB de Villiers feature in Shane Warne’s best World T20 XI

After naming his best XI’s of opposition teams from last 25 years against whom he played, Australian spin legend Shane Warne has now come up with his T20 XI. Star Indian batsman and the toast of the town these days Virat Kohli finds a place in his side. As a matter of fact, Kohli is the only Indian to feature on his XI.

The former cricketer posted his dream T20 team through his official Facebook account. It also includes destructive openers Chris Gayle and Brendon McCullum. It is impossible to leave out superhuman AB de Villiers from any side and the South African sensation walks into this team as well.

Former Australian all-rounder Shane Watson also finds a place in the middle-order along with West Indian all-rounders Andre Russell and Dwayne Bravo. England’s explosive wicket-keeper batsman Jos Buttler, who played a key role for Mumbai Indians (MI) in his maiden Indian Premier League (IPL) season which concluded recently, also finds a place in Warne’s XI.

Bowling department is bolstered by the presence of Australian speedster Mitchell Starc, mystery spinner from the Caribbean Sunil Narine and Bangladesh’s pace sensation Mustafizur Rahman. This completes the XI, which can be seen below in Warne’s post:

All-in-all, it looks to be a formidable side. While some may argue David Warner would be a better choice than McCullum, but the XI he has named is what Warne finds the best in the business at the moment.
