They are the masters of straight drives and doosras; and with their unbelievable skills they have brought many laurels to the nation. Virender Sehwag, Harbhajan Singh and Yuvraj Singh are three of India’s top cricketers from the golden generation of 2000s. Sehwag retired from international cricket last week, the recently married Harbhajan has been in and out of the national side, while Yuvraj is fighting for a comeback.
The North Zone stars, who have been part of the successful World Cup squads of 2003, 2007 (T20) and 2011, may have not shared the national dressing room in recent times but continue to enjoy an amazing camaraderie.
It all started with Yuvraj’s tweet on Wednesday. On the wedding eve, here’s Yuvraj Singh’s advice to Harbhajan Singh!
Harbhajan was quick to replied asking Yuvraj to start playing “straight” soon.
Yuvraj hinted of some big announcement post Diwali, when he replied to Harbhajan that he is set to “play straight” from “Diwali onwards”. Is Yuvraj Singh getting married after Diwali?
How can Viru Paaji, the most experienced man in terms of marriage miss out this conversation? He first wished his “childhood friend” Harbhajan, “a very happy married life” and followed it up with an advice on how to “play straight drive in married life”.
Now that’s as straight it gets and you can expect that from Sehwag. Surely, they can give a call to their “Viru paa” for some valuable advice; he has been a married man for more than 11 years. Sunday is Harbhajan’s reception at the capital New Delhi and it’s set to be a star-studded affair. Sehwag is expected to attend it and surely, there will be some valuable advice for the duo. Currently, Sehwag is playing a Ranji match against Bengal at Rohtak and is expected to attend the reception of Harbhajan Singh.
