Virender Sehwag wishes ‘buddy’ Shoaib Akhtar a speedy recovery; hopes he plays in Cricket All-Stars
Sehwag has wished his old friend Akhtar a speedy recovery after he underwent a knee surgery.

Former Indian opener Virender Sehwag, who is at present in the gulf to take part in the Masters Champions League (MCL), where he will be leading the Gemini Arabians side, has wished his old friend Shoaib Akhtar a speedy recovery after he underwent a knee surgery.
In a series of tweets, Akhtar had posted the X-ray images of his knee along with some other images post operation. Sehwag replied to one of those tweets, saying: “hope u r feeling better after this n play all star matches this year. Take care buddy”

Akhtar replied to Sehwag saying he will try to feature in the Cricket All-Stars. Both Sehwag and Akhtar appeared for Sachin’s Blasters in the first edition of the Cricket All-Stars league in November last year.

The ‘Rawalpindi Express’ also praised his Doctor, who took his case when nobody else was willing to. A grateful Akhtar thanked Dr Young wholeheartedly in another tweet, that went like this:
Ultimate respect for my doctor David Young . Many people refused to take my case to operate but mr Young not only took the case but fixed it
