When Brett Lee took time off commentary to dance for a sequence in film UnIndian
‘UnIndian’ is believed to be a cross-cultural comedy film and comes as the first production of the newly established Australia India Film Fund (AIFF).

Former Australian speedster Brett Lee’s love affair with India is very well known. Earlier he has featured in a song with Asha Bhosle and now he is all set for the release of his film UnIndian, where he stars with Tannishtha Chatterjee, who acted in the movie ‘Gulaab Gang’.
As reported by IANS, Lee, who is making his acting debut, took time off his ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 schedule to shoot a dramatic dance sequence for the upcoming cross-cultural film. The shooting of the film just completed and the legendary fast bowler, who has an immense fan following in India, was seen in Indian traditional outfit. After the shooting finished, Tannishtha returned to India from Australia, while Lee was back to business with the microphone.
‘UnIndian’ is believed to be a cross-cultural comedy film and comes as the first production of the newly established Australia India Film Fund (AIFF). Indian movies are bigger on life dance sequences and Lee’s fans will surely love seeing him shake legs in Indian traditional outfit.
Filming is now completed and Anupam Sharma, who is the director and producer of the feature film, was quoted in a report from IANS as saying, “We were all excited preparing for this final number composed by Salim-Sulaiman, especially because the number has some interesting twists and turns, and Brett in a traditional Indian costume. Brett took time out from his World Cup commentary a week before the big India versus Australia match. His love for India and the ease with which he takes on Indian customs is the reason why many call him a de facto Indian.”
