Michael Clarke’s hundred against SA pace which exemplified his mental and physical strength

Like many fans from all over the world, Cricket Australia too hopes for Clarke to come out and bat.

Michael Clarke is a fighter and over the years, he has done enough to be labelled as one. The way he handled the Australian team after Phil Hughes’ tragic death, has won him many fans. Also, Clarke is hailed for the way he has rebuilt the Australian side.

Like many Australian fans, Cricket Australia too hoped for Clarke to return to bat on Wednesday. Cricket Australia tweeted about Clarke’s great knock he played earlier this year.

In Cape Town earlier this year, Clarke scored a fighting unbeaten 161 for Australia. In a contest against Morne Morkel, Clarke received a few nasty blows to his body, which also injured him, but they weren’t enough to deter the Australian captain, who went on to score a magnificent.
