TV Presenter Gaurav Kapur‘s goof-ups and his nature of anchoring in front of the cameras during the FIFA World Cup 2014 evoked laughter for lot of Indian audiences and social media wizards tore into him on Twitter. Kapur’s sarcastic comments and bizarre questions to panelists during the opening match of the tournament in Brazil which featured the hosts against Croatia were frowned upon.
Gaurav Kapur, who features regularly during the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2014, has been a big hit with the audiences in the cricketing mega-event with his fun and energetic presentation. With Football being a different kettle of fish and a serious group of panelists analysing the game, it was obvious that they were irked by Kapur’s nonsensical style. Certain sections called for Kapur’s ousting.
