Brazili President Dilma Rousseff has invited the BRICS nations for the final.

If things fall in place, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be attending the FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil on July 13. According to an Economic Times report, the Ministry of External Affairs has confirmed receiving an official invitation from the Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff to attend the FIFA World Cup final.

 

The report states that, Modi could be seated along with BRICS nations Presidents. Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chinese President XI Jinping and South African President Zacob Zuma will be among the attendees. The Presidents are scheduled to attend the BRICS 2014 summit to be held from June 15-17 at Fortaleza. Brazil will be hosting around 20 world leaders during the FIFA World Cup 2014.

 

Modi had released commemorative stamps of the World Cup last week and had said that it would be a bridge for connecting nations together.
