Portugal recently were held to a 1-1 draw at the hands of Ireland and their skipper Cristiano Ronaldo was severely criticised for some of the comments he made about the Iceland players after the match. Austria suffered a 2-0 loss in their first game against Hungary earlier in the tournament and will come all guns blazing for this match, which is a crucial one.

It is a crucial match for Portugal as well as Hungary played out a 1-1 draw against Iceland earlier today. A win is a must for both teams to stay ahead in the competition. Anything short of that would mean that they will have to depend on the results of other matches to find out if they progress into the next stage or not.

Portugal have some star players in their side. The likes of Ronaldo, Nani and Ricardo Quaresma will be entrusted to score goals for the side. While experienced defenders like Pepe, Jose Fonte and Bruno Alves will have to ensure that they do not leak too many goals at the back.

Austria will be led by Christian Fuchs, who had a successful stint with his club Leicester City, who are the current champions of England. He will however need his midfielders and forwards are in top form today to beat an excellent team like Portugal.
