Quaresma scored the only goal for of the match for Portugal. Meanwhile, Poland beat Switzerland on penalties to progress forward.

Portugal have won four of the last ten meetings between the two sides. Portugal will be counting on their star player Cristiano Ronaldo to show some magic and take his forward in the tournament. Meanwhile, Nani, their winger cannot be underestimated as well. His pace will be a trouble for Poland’s defenders. Portugal Coach Fernando Santos will have to come out with a strong strategy against Poland and a tactically strong one.

Poland on the other hand, couldn’t beat Switzerland in normal time. Their coach, Adam Nawałka will have to have a plan against Ronaldo and his men. Robert Lewandowski hasn’t scored so far in this Euro tournament. He might just come to the party tonight. Nonetheless, Poland will have to defend well if they want to reach the semi-finals of the tournament.

Meanwhile, there will be a tribute just before kick-off, in memory of the victims of the terrorist attack which took place in Istanbul.
