Only three players were able to get a double-digit score for the visitors. Ireland succumbed to pressure starting from their skipper falling on the first ball. It was downhill from there. Curtis Campher though showed some positive signs by scoring a fifty. Shakib Al Hasan was the star with the ball, claiming a five-fer while Taskin Ahmed ended with three. Shakib Al Hasan though was just too good with the ball.
A comprehensive win for Bangladesh and after ODI series, they win the T20I series. They were just superb throughout. First, due to rain, the match was slashed to 17 overs per side. It was pouring from the sky before Bangladesh showed up to bat. Boy, they went bonkers from the word go, scoring 200 with everyone making an instant impact. Litton Das and Towhid Hridoy blasted 100 runs in no time and later Shakib Al Hasan gave a fine finish.

...THE CHASE...
Ireland yet again were poor with the ball, they were all over the place, short, wide and the fielding was also not great. All their bowlers except for Benjamin White had a poor outing. Now their batters face yet another massive task. They need someone to play a special knock if they are to chase it down. Stay tuned for the second half.
Another top, top batting effort then from Bangladesh! Yet again the tone was set by the openers as both added over 100. At that time, over 210 looked possible. Rony Talukdar fell but Das continued. He had his eyes set on a ton but fell in the 80s. Shakib then came in and played a handy cameo. He was well supported by Towhid Hridoy and the two ensured their side crossed the 200-run mark.

Only three players were able to get a double-digit score for the visitors. Ireland succumbed to pressure starting from their skipper falling on the first ball. It was downhill from there. Curtis Campher though showed some positive signs by scoring a fifty. Shakib Al Hasan was the star with the ball, claiming a five-fer while Taskin Ahmed ended with three. Shakib Al Hasan though was just too good with the ball.
A comprehensive win for Bangladesh and after ODI series, they win the T20I series. They were just superb throughout. First, due to rain, the match was slashed to 17 overs per side. It was pouring from the sky before Bangladesh showed up to bat. Boy, they went bonkers from the word go, scoring 200 with everyone making an instant impact. Litton Das and Towhid Hridoy blasted 100 runs in no time and later Shakib Al Hasan gave a fine finish.
