Wesley Madhevere is the Player of the Match. He says it is his responsible to score runs and it doesn't matter at what position he bats. Reckons he is happy with the hat trick. Hopes to carry on with the performance and win the final game of the series.
Craig Ervine says they were looking for 300-mark but fall in the middle phase. Reckons he is looking forward to the next match and hopes to put on a good performance. Says the spinners, Wesley Madhevere and Sikandar Raza bought them back into the game.
Scott Edwards says their bowlers did well to keep them in the game. Adds it was a similar wicket to the first game, it stayed a bit low though. Reckons he told players to back themselves till the end.

Zimbabwe just weren't at their best with the ball. However, it was Sikandar Raza and Wesley Madhevere who got them back in the game with the latter taking a hat-trick. The two took three each and pushed Netherlands onto the back foot. The pacers kept their cool towards the end but the two spinners were the stars.
Netherlands though will be disappointed with their effort. They were in control of this chase for most of the time. They were cruising at 197 for 2 but once Max O'Dowd fell, they kept losing wickets at regular intervals. The middle order did not click. Scott Edwards tried his best but kept losing partners. Once he fell, the game seemed over. The last wicket though took it to the last ball but Zimbabwe kept their cool and emerged on top.
What a game, for the second time in a row, we witnessed a cracker between these two. This time it is the home side which has come out on top and they have leveled the series.

We are back. Max O'Dowd and Vikramjit Singh to open for Netherlands. Tendai Chatara to start with the ball.
...THE CHASE...
The start wasn't that good for Netherlands and it cost them. In phases, they were quite wayward but Shariz Ahmad was standout from all of them. Once he was introduced into the attack, Netherlands got better of Zimbabwe but they fail to capitalize on it and allowed a stand to build which as result, they not have to chase a par score on this pitch. No doubt, Shariz Ahmad was the pick with his five-fer. Netherlands have to chase to win the series. Their batting needs to pick up the form. Can Netherlands chase this down? We will find out soon.
A decent performance from Zimbabwe but they had a chance to reach the 300-mark at one point. It was a good pitch to bat on and Zimbabwe good start. But once Ervine fell, Zimbabwe nose dived and were reeling at 120 for 5 at one stage. However, then came the big partnership between Sean Williams and Clive Madande of more than 100 which helped Zimbabwe get back on track. Both got their fifty but fell probably at a very long time just when they had the momentum. Still, Zimbabwe will be happy with this score.

Craig Ervine says they were looking for 300-mark but fall in the middle phase. Reckons he is looking forward to the next match and hopes to put on a good performance. Says the spinners, Wesley Madhevere and Sikandar Raza bought them back into the game.
Scott Edwards says their bowlers did well to keep them in the game. Adds it was a similar wicket to the first game, it stayed a bit low though. Reckons he told players to back themselves till the end.

Zimbabwe just weren't at their best with the ball. However, it was Sikandar Raza and Wesley Madhevere who got them back in the game with the latter taking a hat-trick. The two took three each and pushed Netherlands onto the back foot. The pacers kept their cool towards the end but the two spinners were the stars.
Netherlands though will be disappointed with their effort. They were in control of this chase for most of the time. They were cruising at 197 for 2 but once Max O'Dowd fell, they kept losing wickets at regular intervals. The middle order did not click. Scott Edwards tried his best but kept losing partners. Once he fell, the game seemed over. The last wicket though took it to the last ball but Zimbabwe kept their cool and emerged on top.
What a game, for the second time in a row, we witnessed a cracker between these two. This time it is the home side which has come out on top and they have leveled the series.
