Temba Bavuma, MAN OF THE MATCH! He says such a chase gives them a lot of confidence. Adds he enjoyed the ton, the wicket is good here and it suits them. Mentions the guys were calm, they had wickets in hand and England needed a miracle to win. States the bowling was good in the first 10 overs, they were not at their best in the end but they batted really well. Ends by saying he loved the support from the crowd.
Jos Buttler says they did not expect the ball to swing as much as it did but to comeback from that and post 340 was really good. Adds it was a great chase and it was a really good game of cricket. England just were not upto the mark with the ball! Yes, they did not get a lot of assistance but they were either way too full or way too short. Especially Rashid, there was enough purchase from the surface for him but he just could not get his line right. Olly Stone was the only one who impressed by hitting the right lines and lengths but he hardly got any support from the other end. In the end, England will be very disappointed, they have not only lost this game but the series as well.

That is a brilliant chase from South Africa and they have done it quite easily in the end. They needed a few good innings from a couple of batters and they got it. One came from their skipper who scored a brilliant ton. He along with de Kock first and then Rassie laid the foundation. Both Temba Bavuma and Rassie fell in quick succession but Heinrich Klaasen and Aiden Markram did not let the momentum slip away. The two counter-attacked, batted brilliantly and kept the run rate under check. Heinrich Klaasen fell but Miller and Markram put up a partnership which turned the tide totally into their favor. Markram fell but Miller stayed till the end to ensure South Africa pull off a record chase.

The target is a big one, Quinton de Kock's availability is still in question, the others will have to step up and bat really well if they are going to chase this down. England on the other hand, will not want to repeat the mistakes the South African bowlers did and hope they can defend this.
For South Africa, they were excellent with the new ball but after that they had no answers to the pounding they got. Most of their bowlers took a pounding. Except for Parnell everybody had an economy of over 6. A day they would want to forget.
The start was not the best for England, they lost both their openers quickly and were off to a pretty sedate start when the ball was doing a little but once it stopped moving, it was all about their batters. Harry Brook and Ben Duckett steadied the ship but the latter gave it away after getting off to a start. Brook then along with Buttler took England in the ascendancy. Brook fell 20 short of a ton but then it was the Buttler show. First he along with Moeen blasted the bowling around and once Moeen fell, Buttler took the onus onto him. He got good support from Curran and England have got to a big total.
That is an outstanding performance with the bat by England, led by their skipper, Jos Buttler! Pretty sure they have a score above par and are in a great position at the halfway mark to level the series.

Temba Bavuma, MAN OF THE MATCH! He says such a chase gives them a lot of confidence. Adds he enjoyed the ton, the wicket is good here and it suits them. Mentions the guys were calm, they had wickets in hand and England needed a miracle to win. England just were not upto the mark with the ball! Yes, they did not get a lot of assistance but they were either way too full or way too short. Especially Rashid, there was enough purchase from the surface for him but he just could not get his line right. Olly Stone was the only one who impressed by hitting the right lines and lengths but he hardly got any support from the other end. In the end, England will be very disappointed, they have not only lost this game but the series as well.

That is a brilliant chase from South Africa and they have done it quite easily in the end. They needed a few good innings from a couple of batters and they got it. One came from their skipper who scored a brilliant ton. He along with de Kock first and then Rassie laid the foundation. Both Temba Bavuma and Rassie fell in quick succession but Heinrich Klaasen and Aiden Markram did not let the momentum slip away. The two counter-attacked, batted brilliantly and kept the run rate under check. Heinrich Klaasen fell but Miller and Markram put up a partnership which turned the tide totally into their favor. Markram fell but Miller stayed till the end to ensure South Africa pull off a record chase.
