2nd Test: Sri Lanka 215 all out without a run added post lunch

Sri Lanka lost their last two wickets without a run added after lunch on day three in Canberra, with Mitchell Starc ending with 5/54 on Sunday.

Having reached tea on 215/7, Sri Lanka were bowled out for the same score with Starc grabbing two wickets in three balls. With Kusal Perera not able to bat after copping a blow to the helmet during the morning session, the tourists’ first innings came to an end with a deficit of 319 runs.

Starc, who during the morning session removed Dimuth Karunaratne for 59 after the Sri Lanka opener returned to bat after being cleared by doctors, had Dilruwan Perera edging to Paine and then bowled Vishwa Fernando to end the innings. Australia head the series 1-0 after their three-day win in the day-night Test last week.
