31 wickets fell at the notorious Chaudhry Bansi Lal Cricket Stadium, Lahli in under five sessions with Jharkhand pacers ruling the roost, helping their team to nine-wicket win over Haryana in the Elite C match of Round 2 of the 2018-19 Ranji Trophy on day two on Tuesday.

After Haryana were bowled out for 81 on day one, Jharkhand scored 143, taking a vital lead of 62 runs in the morning session on day two. Skipper Ishan Kishan made 25 while allrounder Ankul Roy top-scored with 27. For Haryana, pacer Ashish Hooda grabbed 5/37.

In their second dig, Haryana fell to Jharkhand’s pace trio in 28 overs scoring just 72 runs. Yadav took 3/31 while Shukla got 1/9. Aaron ripped through the batting order with a six-wicket haul.

However, Jharkhand had a golden chance to win the match win a bonus point (innings win ot 10-wicket win), but they lost Kishan for 1 in chase of 11 runs.

After gaining three points from their first game, Jharkhand took their points tally to nine to top Elite C, momentarily.
