Outstation player Yogesh Nagar hit a 187-ball 166 with the help of 22 boundaries and two sixes and combined with opener RR Biswa (111) for a stand of 231 runs for the fourth wicket helping Meghalaya to 338/5 at stumps vs Nagaland on day one of Round 3 of the Ranji Trophy 2018-19 at the MCA Cricket Ground, Polo Ground, Shillong on Tuesday. After being put in to bat, Meghalaya lost skipper JJ Lamare for a three-ball duck to Pawan Suyal before Jalal cleaned up Traique Siddique for 3 to leave Meghalaya at 26/2. But Nagar and Biswa then joined hands to lead Meghalaya s recovery before Biswa was removed by Nagaland skipper Rongen Jonathan after a 239-ball vigil. Two over before stumps, Nagar was sent back by Suyal.

At stumps Gurinder Singh was unbeaten on 23 in the company og Abhay Negi (1). For Nagaland, Suyal picked up 2/61 in his 20 overs while Jalal, Imliwati and Jonathan picked one wickets each.
