After bundling out Arunachal Pradesh for 84 on day one of round five of Ranji Trophy 2018-19 season, Bihar had finished the day at 250/1 and on day two piled on more runs with Indrajit Kumar (overnight on 127*) making 222 while skipper Babul Kumar (overnight on 72*), missed on a century by two runs. Bihar declared their innings at 536/5 in 11 overs, thus taking a lead of 452 runs.

In reply, Arunachal finished day two at 98/1, still trailing Bihar by 354 runs.

Starting the day ar 250/1, the duo of Indrajit and Babul had put on 140 on day one and further added 54 runs to the total before Babul was snapped up by Prateek Singh for 98 off 116 balls.

MD Rahmatullah then added 42 and combined for a stand of 116 for the fourth wicket with Indrajit. Indrajit got to his double ton and made 222 of 266 balls with the help of 30 fours and three sixes. He was the fourth Bihar wicket to fall with the score of 420. Keshav Kumar then added 38 off 47 before falling to Akhilesh Sahani. Rahamatullah was removed by Myendung Singpho.

Utkarsh Bhaskar (57) and Vikas Ranjan (18) then put on an unbeaten 36 runs, before the declaration came.

For Arunachal Pradesh Singpho claimed 2/90.

In reply, Arunachal opener Samarth Seth raced to 52 off 78 balls with the help of nine fours and remained unbeaten on close of play. Fellow opener Techi Doria departed for 13 to Keshav Kumar. Sahani was unbeaten in the middle on 25 off 39.
