3rd Test at Trent Bridge: Virat Kohli’s India seek redemption at England’s least successful venue

England first beat India in the first Test of the five-match series, at Edgbaston, Birmingham, by 31 runs after ten sessions of intense battle. In the second Test at Lord’s, however, there was no resistance from India: they were bowled out for 107 and 130 and lost by an innings and 159 runs, all in the space inside 170.3 overs. Even Virat Kohli (23 and 17) did not get going. The teams will now move to Trent Bridge, Nottingham for the third Test. Ahead of the match, here is a statistical preview.
