Indian team arrives in Adelaide for 1st Test

The Indian cricket team, on Sunday (December 02), arrived in Adelaide where they will be squaring off, in a four-match test series with the hosts, Australian cricket team.

Earlier on Saturday (December 01) Indian cricketer Murali Vijay said that he was confident to take on Australia in the upcoming first test match after scoring a century on the final day of their practice game in Sydney.

The test series begins in Adelaide Oval ground on Thursday (December 06), with further matches in Perth, Melbourne and Sydney. India’s young sensation, Prithvi Shaw, has already been ruled out of the first Test due to an ankle injury during the practice game.

The two teams were last seen locking horns together last month after India won the third match of the three match T20 International series in Sydney. Australian team won the rain-hit series opener in Brisbane and the second match in Melbourne was washed out.
