South Africa have crossed the 350-run mark in their first innings, but they have lost AB de Villiers who fell to Nathan Lyon in the 124th over.

Both de Villiers and JP Duminy were looking a little stifled post-lunch, and Lyon’s tactics against de Villiers finally worked as he got the in-form batsman for 116. Australia will now be looking to finish off the Proteas tail quickly, and not let them reach 400.

Duminy is still there in the middle and South Africa will be hoping he can guide them past the 400-mark. Duminy, in the course of this innings, has also crossed 1000 career runs in Tests.
