India have taken the greatest threat out of the equation in their pursuit of defending 247 in the second One-Day International (ODI) at Indore. AB de Villiers was dismissed for 19 runs by Mohit Sharma when he hit the ball hard in direction of cover where Virat Kohli took a blinder. South Africa’s hopes will be pinned on Farhaan Behardien who is now consigned to batting with the tail and currently has Dale Steyn for company. India will hope to not blow the match from this point. At one stage it looked like South Africa would cruise through with a easy victory but Akshar Patel brought back control for India by getting rid of Faf du Plessis and JP Duminy in quick succession.
