Earlier, India managed to score a respectable 247 for nine thanks to a resilient knock by MS Dhoni after India were reeling at 124 for six. Dhoni took it on himself to bat till the very end and he remained unconquered on a 86-ball 92. His knock included four sixes and and seven fours. Among the other batsmen only Ajinkya Rahane stood out scoring 51 before being dismissed by Imran Tahir.
