AB de Villiers‘ record breaking innings of 149 in 44 balls against West Indies at Johannesburg on Sunday earned him at lot of praise and respect from all over the World. But he was also trolled by one international cricketer, Tom Cooper, of the Netherlands.

On Twitter, the Dutch all-rounder wrote, “Well played @ABdeVilliers17 unfortunately wasn’t quite enough to get @KNCBcricket out of the record books for conceding highest ever total.” He said this in the context of Netherlands’ record of conceding the most amount of runs in an innings of a One-Day match. On July 4, 2006 Sri Lanka made the highest total of 443 for nine against them. On Sunday, South Africa came close to break the record but just fell short by four runs. That was probably Cooper’s regret.
