Adam Lyth and Aaron Finch team up to complete an incredible catch

Cricket is a team game and good team work can create wonders. Yorkshire’s Adam Lyth and Aaron Finch took catching to a new a level when they combined to pull off a spectacular catch.

Lancashire batsman Tom Smith was batting on 55, and it seemed another of his big hit down the ground would go all the way for six. Displaying an astonishing piece of fielding, Lyth ran back towards the boundary and attempted an impossible catch. Realising that he was about to fall over the rope, he palmed the ball back to an alert Finch near the boundary rope.

Lyth’s incredible athleticism and presence of mind, combined with Finch’s alertness resulted in a brilliant dismissal.
