Afghanistan, who were recently awarded the Test status, are ready for a huge honour as they make their debut at Lord’s. They will take on Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) on Tuesday. The Afghanistan side will be lead by Asghar Stanikzai, while MCC will be captained by Brendon McCullum. Afghanistan boasts of players, such as Mohammad Nabi and Rashid Khan, who earned all the accolades during their debut edition of IPL. Rashid went on to continue the momentum against West Indies, where he claimed his career-best ODI figures of 7 for 18. Afghanistan also comprise of quality all-rounders.

Last year, MCC lost the game against cricket-crazy nation Nepal by 41 runs while chasing 217. This time around, the intensity and exposure of the players are equal.
