Buoyed by Pakistan s drubbing of the England, the No 1 Test team in the world, coach Mohsin Khan has set a target to beat Australia in their own den.

Mohsin was quoted by The News as saying, “I don t mean any disrespect to England because they are a great side but I must say that even now the toughest task for a team in Test cricket is to beat Australia in Australia.

“Any team that can achieve this target is for me the best team in the world.”

Mohsin had earlier declared that his side will leave no stone unturned to make the scoreline 3-0 against top-ranked England in the ongoing Test series.

Pakistan sealed the three-match Test series in the United Arab Emirates with a thumping win in Abu Dhabi last week.

He further added that Pakistan should aim to beat top teams like South Africa and Australia to prove their mettle at international stage.

He said, “It s a huge challenge but I have faith in my boys. That s because I know that they have the guts to beat Australia in their own backyard.

“The one team that can match Australia when it comes to playing tough cricket is South Africa. A team can only become number one if it beats Australia and South Africa.”
