Prithvi Shaw is looking to part ways completely with Mumbai cricket as he aims to play for another state team professionally. To facilitate the move, he has applied for a No-Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA).

Prithvi Shaw was considered as one of brightest youngster and future of Indian cricket. He was the captain of the Indian U-19 team that won the 2018-19 World Cup. Cricket experts had a lot of expectations from him but his career saw a steep fall and it got detoriated.
Infact his U-19 teammates Shubman Gill has been appointed as the Test captain whereas Arshdeep Singh is one of the key bowlers in the Indian team. Shaw, on the other hand is gradually slipping out of the spotlight, having gone unsold in the IPL 2025 mega auction. He was not even picked by any team as a injury replacement, now the star opening batter has taken a big decision to revive his career
According to a report by The Indian Express, Prithvi Shaw is looking to cut all ties with Mumbai cricket and has expressed his desire to play for another state as a professional. He has requested a No-Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) to make the move.

“He has sought NoC from us and we will take a decision on it soon,” an MCA source informed the publication.
According to reports, Shaw has received offers from two or three other state associations, but his final destination is yet to be confirmed.
