Bangladesh have been one of the trending topics for controversies since last two years. The second One-Day International (ODI) ended in hosts Bangladesh’s favour as they won it convincingly by 34 runs and kept themselves alive in the hunt to win their seventh consecutive series at home. However it did not go smoothly, and was marked by an ugly altercation. The heated brawl between England captain Jos Buttler and Bangladeshi players during the second ODI of the series at Mirpur was probably just a start to another controversy. It was calmed down by the on field umpires but later after the match, something similarly happened and at that time there were no umpires.

Just like the way Bangladesh celebrated after Buttler’s wicket, they did so after winning the match too, and this time they made England’s current ODI vice-captain Ben Stokes angry. Like every other match, there were normal handshakes between the players of both the sides. In this process, Tamim Iqbal probably said something to Jonny Bairstow as the English player responded quite aggressively and then Stokes came into action by pushing Bangladeshi batsman. Thanks to Shakib Al Hasan, who intervened and calmed the moment by separating both the players. This incident occurred just before the post match presentation ceremony of the match.

Bangladesh should be aware of England as they would look to comeback strongly in the final ODI of the series, which will be played at Chittagong on October 12.
