Ajinkya Rahane clarifies about birth date on Twitter after wishes pour in

Cricketers often enjoy a huge fan base on social media but Ajinkya Rahane wouldn’t have expected birthday wishes a day before he was born. Right throughout the day, wishes kept pouring in which led to the Indian batsman clarifying on Twitter about his actual birth date being 6 June 1988 and not 5 June.

Hiiii friends!!! Thank you so much for your lovely wishes. But my birthday is tomorrow i.e 6th June. Thanks once again 🙂

Ajinkya Rahane is part of both the Test and ODI teams touring Bangladesh and will want to continue his good run in international cricket. Now that he himself has tweeted the right date, expect many more wishes to pour in for him. He has played 14 Tests for India, along with 54 one-dayers and 11 Twenty20 internationals.
