Ajinkya Rahane completes his maiden half-century in Tests on Day Two of the second Test against South Africa at Durban. Rahane was unlucky to miss out on the mark in the first Test where he was dismissed for 47.

Rahane was tested by Dale Steyn with a few short deliveries. While he played a few confidently, some thunderbolts from Steyn hot him (once on the helmet and once on the shoulder). The Mumbai batsman was watchful and played with a straight bat playing some well-timed drives.

By the time Rahane got to his fifty, India had faltered. From 320 for five, India were bowled out for 334.
