In the 30th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2014, Sunrisers Hydreabad got the early breakthrough against Rajasthan Royals (RR) with the important wicket of Ajnkya Rahane heading back to the crease.

 

Defending a modest total of 136, Bhuavaneshwar Kumar got Hyderabad off to a rollicking start with Ajinjya Rahane’s cut shot landing straight to the fielder at point and a match was on.  Only two runs came of the first over. With Dale Steyn steaming in the second over, sensing blood Sanju Samson led a counter-attack and smashed the pacer for a boundary down the ground for a boundary. Karun Nair trickled the ball down to fine leg for yet another four.

 

Earlier, Rajasthan Royals skipper Shane Watson led by example with the ball with a scintillating hat-trick to restirct Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) to 134 for nine after electing to field after winning the toss in the 30th match of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2014. Watson’s opposite number Shikhar Dhawan gave Hyderabad an electric start before Rajat Bhatia‘s medium pacers completely stifled Hyderabad under bowler friendly conditions.
