Ajinkya Rahane equals Rahul Dravid in innings taken to get 2,000-run milestone in ODIs, during India vs Australia 2015-16

Ajinkya Rahane has established yet another similarity with his guru Rahul Dravid by taking the exact same number of innings to reach the 2,000-career-runs milestone in the One-Day International (ODI) format. Rahane achieved the milestone in the second ODI against Australia at Brisbane in 63 innings, the same number that Dravid had consumed to get to the mark. Dravid is often recalled by commentators and fans when Rahane bats because the latter’s style resembles that of Dravid.
