During the quarter final match of the English One-Day Cup, Ajinkya Rahane’s impressive half-century pushed Leicestershire to a dramatic victory in the final over against Hampshire. Coming in at number 4, Ajinkya scored a total and a very important score of 70 runs from 86 balls, which had a massive impact in the team’s success.
Hampshire gave out a competitive target of 290 runs in 50 overs, in which captain Nick Gubbins scored a brilliant century as well. Leicestershire had to face a challenging task in their case, as they lost early wickets.
