India captain Ajinkya Rahane has scored his eighth One-Day International (ODI) fifty in the second match against Zimbabwe at Harare. Rahane came to open the innings along with Murali Vijay, like he did in the first ODI. But Rahane and his partner seemed to have learnt from their mistakes in the previous game and have applied themselves very well.

India will be delighted with the start they have made and will look to kick on from here and get a big score. Vijay at the other end too is nearing his maiden ODI fifty. Rahane has played sensibly right from the beginning and has upped the ante after he got his eye. He will hope to convert this innings into a big one.

Earlier, Zimbabwe had won the toss and elected to bowl first. India have not made any changes in their playing XI, whereas Zimbabwe have brought in Neville Madziva in place of Tinashe Panyangara. India lead the three-match series 1-0.
