England Test captain Alastair Cook has reached that point in his career, where he is breaking records every innings. Since then, there has been no stopping him as he continues to enter in the big league in Test cricket. Cook, who is currently busy in the ongoing five-Test series in India, has moved past Steve Waugh‘s record. Full Cricket Scorecard: India vs England 3rd Test at Mohali

It was Waugh, who became the third batsman in the history of cricket to go past 10,000 runs in Tests after Sunil Gavaskar and Allan Border. But now, he is not even in the top 10 list of top run-getter in Tests. In the ongoing third Test against India at Mohali, Cook huffed and puffed to score a poor 12 in the second innings and in this process, he entered the list of top 10 run-getters in Tests by surpassing Waugh’s tally of 10,927 runs. Cook has currently 10,934 Test runs to his name and with 66 more, he will also become the 10th cricketer and first from England to enter 11,000-run club.
