Alastair Cook, the England captain has now, taken 100 catches in Test cricket. Cook achieved the milestone during the second Test between India and England at Lord’s. He took the catch at first-slip off the bowling of Ben Stokes to dismiss Mohammed Shami. With that catch, England wrapped up the Indian innings for 295.
Cook is one of the safe fielders in the slip region and is reliable there. Currently, Cook is not having a very good time as a batsman and has been struggling for form. A good innings soon would help him get back into rhythm very well.
