Australia has been in news for all the wrong reasons in past few days due to the ball-tampering scandal. Cricket fraternity has been divided over severity of the penalties dished out to Steven Smith, David Warner, and Cameron Bancroft. At the same time, the Australian Women have been performing well in the tri-series against India and England, storming into the final.

Amidst all this, out of nowhere, Sanjay Manjrekar tweeted how no Australian fielders applauded when Harmanpreet Kaur smashed her iconic 171* in the 2017 World Cup. Alyssa Healy, outraged by the tweet, replied, calling his claims unfair. She even urged him to discuss the matter in private.

To add to that, Australia did not quite ‘lose easily’: Alex Blackwell played one of the greatest second-innings knocks in response. Blackwell also gifted Kaur her jersey after the match.
