Ambati Rayudu Pulls Out Of Major League Cricket, Texas Super Kings Confirms

Former Indian cricketer Ambati Rayudu has ruled himself out of the inaugural edition of the Major League Cricket in the USA due to undisclosed personal reasons. Texas Super Kings, the sister franchise of five-time IPL winner Chennai Super Kings made this official announcement on Saturday.

ayudu signed with Texas Super Rulers soon after announcing his retirement from the IPL in June. This update came when the BCCI is BCCI is thinking about a cooling-off period to stop the “pre-determined” retirement trend of Indian players. Active Indian players are not allowed to play in any overseas leagues. However, the retired ones can participate.

The Major League Cricket will be held from July 13 to July 30 and will be played in the United States. IPL franchisees including KKR, CSK, and Mumbai Indians own teams in the tournament.
